Very friendly with disabled individuals
Myself and my colleague visited here on Saturday with a client with a wheelchair, staff very accommodating and patient with us interacted with the lady we supported very well. The food was lovely for lunch and reasonably priced we will definetley be coming here again! Brilliant Food & Service
I visited bramleys yesterday for the first time and what a gem of a place. I ordered Welsh rarebit with ham and it’s the best I have tryed in the local area, it was wonderful. And for dessert I had a piece of gluten free carrot cake, I was suprised to find how nice it was and there isn’t much different in taste to a normal carrot cake. I have tryed a lot of places in ormskirk and this is by far the best place to eat for lunch. Will definitely be recommending it to my family and friends. Very reasonably priced overall for what you get
Just Lovely
Popped in again for lunch on Friday with granddaughter, great staff, great food, reasonable prices, keep up the good work. Bramleys remains one of our favourite eating places in Ormskirk.
Fabulous Welsh-Rarebit
Visited with my Mum and we had a delightful lunch served by a really lovely waitress. Welsh Rarebit was best Mum has tasted - and she has had a few and I had jacket potato and Coronation Chicken. We will be calling again.
Lovely Breakfast
Had a lovely breakfast here with my dad on his birthday. We arrived around 9.15 am (on a Monday) and it was quiet, so we had the pick of our seats. There was a good selection of breakfast items on the menu and a separate sheet for gluten free options. I had an omelette which was delicious and a side of hash browns. The staff were friendly and attentive, without being bothersome and were able to keep themselves occupied rather than watching us eat. The decoration is cozy, and stays true to its longstanding reputation as an exceelent coffee shop. I love a cool café, but sometimes you jst want something cozy and homely, like Bramleys.
Overall, a lovely breakfast and reasonably priced too! We will be returning I am sure.
Lovely as per Usual
We’ve both visited Bramleys several times and never had a bad meal. The food is fresh, homemade and just delicious. The service and cost of lunch is excellent. It’s got a great atmosphere, it’s definitely our go to place for lunch.
Best Café in Ormskirk
We often come here with our toddler. Have loved it for years but since being taken over by new owners it’s even better. Great food and cakes and lovely cosy and comfortable surroundings. Little gem compared to the chain coffee shops.
What a gem
I loved it here! I booked through Bramley's Facebook page for afternoon tea for my mum's birthday. I mentioned that she was vegetarian and the owner kindly said she'd make a note and it didn't seem to bother her.
We arrived and we had a cute little table reserved for us upstairs. I love the vintage decor and how warm the place was. A lovely young lady came over and showed us the vegetarian options and let us choose the ones we'd like to try, as well as giving us a choice of cakes. We let her choose for us and we weren't disappointed.
The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't feel rushed or pressured and we stayed for a little longer. We only had the afternoon tea which was reasonably priced at £20 for two people. we didn't sample much of the vast menu but I'll absolutely be returning to try an actual meal.
